An Illyrian helmet,

6th - 5th century B.C. Bronze with light greenish patina. Hemispherical skull with crest base contoured by double ridges, fastening holes on both ends. Square facial aperture, the pointed cheek pieces showing holes for attaching the chin straps. Narrow, flanged neck guard. Height 21.5 cm.
Very well preserved helmet with metallic substance and fine patina. Small restorations in the area of the crest base and at the neck guard.
