A Roman putto,

2nd - 3rd century A.D. Cast bronze complemented by cold-working. Charming portrayal of a striding putto, his left arm raised, the face finely crafted, around his neck a flower wreath, the curly hair elaborately dressed, small, beautifully modelled wings. Height 11 cm. Dark green to brownish patina, the metal well preserved, both hands and the right foot missing.
Provenance: German private collection, 1970s.
