General Field Marshal August von Mackensen (1849 - 1945) - a Cadinen dedication ashtray from Kaiser Wilhelm II,

Christmas 1929. Auburn glazed stoneware with silver mounting, thereupon the engraved cipher "W II" on the front underneath the imperial crown, on the reverse side "Weihnachten 1929" (Christmas 1929). On the bottom press mark of the Imperial Majolica Manufactory Cadinen as well as a hardly legible inventory label "...des Generalfeldmarschalls v. Mackensen". 19 cm in diameter.
Furthermore a letter personally written in ink by von Mackensen from the year 1922, note of thanks for birthday greetings to a colonel with embossed letter head "M" under crossed marshal's batons and crown, signed "Ihr getreuer Mackensen" (yours sincerely Mackensen), in an original envelope personally addressed and with another embossed cipher, as well as a postcard addressed to a general with note of thanks from 1923 ("Unter den zahlreichen Glückwünschenden... sind Sie einer der treuesten u. mir willkommensten" (from all the numerous congratulators... for me you are one of the most faithful and most welcome)), also a photo postcard of the imperial couple at the Doorn house, and a patriotic tablecloth of World War I with woven depiction of Kaiser Wilhelm II and Franz Joseph, field grey soldiers and artillery guns, circa 160 x 160 cm.
