A pair of bone-inlaid wheellock pistols.

Historismus period reproductions in the style of 1650, using old pieces. Octagonal barrels becoming round, smooth bores in 13 mm calibre with vine decoration etched on the rear halves of the barrels. Original, slightly different wheellocks with tankards or a "VP" mark stamped on the inside. Floral etching on the outside of the locks, and each is signed "ANTONIO BONISOLO". The walnut stocks entirely inlaid with engraved and blackened bone displaying riders, hounds, and bears, amid fine vines. Iron trigger guards with floral etching. Wooden ramrods with bone tips. Length of each 62.5 cm.
