A large silver goblet,
Eduard Wollenweber, Munich, circa 1880. The foot in relief with a waved rim. The stem shaped like a three-dimensional cherub in antique-style armour. The bowl with rich chased decorations of baroque flowers and mascarons. Lid en relief, the pommel shaped as a three-dimensional dragon. The foot with hallmark "800" with crescent and crown as well as "ED. Wollenweber". Height 39 cm, weight 922 g. Eduard Wollenweber was the preferred silversmith of King Ludwig II, amongst other things he manufactured the centrepiece for Linderhof castle.
