An Italian silver figure of a saint,

18th century. Statue of a saint wearing a tunic and a cloak, standing on a base of clouds. In his hands a now missing object (probably a book), in his arm a flowering branch with coloured gems as blossoms. Attached nimbus made of a red coral branch. Subsequently added(?) plinth of ebonised wood. Height of the figure 18 cm, overall height 37 cm. Silver weight ca. 380 g.
