A French silver box (pyxis),

circa 1600. Silver, partially gilt. Round box, slightly domed lid with a small pommel. The entire surface engraved with fine, interlaced strapwork. Engraved coat of arms with continuous inscription "APCM" on the bottom. The interior gilt. 6 cm in diameter, weight 73 g.
