An enamelled ornamental plate,

Limoges, 19th century. Black enamelled copper, partly gilt and painted in grisaille technique. In the centre a depiction of Saint Martin with beggar, a townscape in the background. The border decorated with tendrils and mascarons. The reverse of the border bears golden tendrils, monogrammed "AP". The rim slightly chipped in places. Diameter 21.5 cm.
