A pair of ivory busts,

German or French, c. 1720/30. Elaborately carved busts of a royal couple with finely modelled faces and well-elaborated ceremonial robes. The bases of both busts with one central drill hole for mounting. Beautiful age patina, the bust of the lady slightly damaged on the nose and the lower edge. Height 8.3 cm and 8.6 cm.
