A Gothic gold ring,

England or France, 14th century. Heavy ring made from yellow gold, the ridged shank partly pierced, with golden beads applied on the sides. Red stone (ruby?) cut like a pyramid in a strong bezel. Height 30 mm, weight 19.2 g.
