A wheellock rifle (Tschinke),

Cieszyn (Teschen), circa 1650. Eight-groove rifled barrel (9 mm cal.), slightly swamped at the muzzle with dovetailed sights and struck mark "OR" (Stöckel no. 4204) at the breech. Excellently florally engraved, characteristic wheellock with external spring. Fine walnut full stock with engraved and blackened staghorn and mother-of-pearl inlays (minor defects at the nose). The curved butt with patchbox and iron trigger guard with finger rests. Original iron ramrod with engraved and pierced brass thimbles. Length 125 cm.
