A "German SS Belt Buckle Gun",

cal. .22 l.r., no. 4/c. Matching numbers. Four barrels, length 43 mm. Wehrmacht eagle on hinged lid, at the bottom two-line inscription: "BLN. - 44 - SS / R.V.F.Z. Nr. 4/c". Patinated, spotted finish. Dimensions without belt loops approx. 110 x 55 x 43 mm. Very good, fully functioning condition. Extremely rare.
Operational sequence: When left-sided upper and lower ribbed levers are pressed simultaneously, the hinged lid and barrels spring open. Shots are released by pressing the now accessible ribbed triggers on the left. Simultaneous firing of one, two, three or four shots is possible. Supposedly developed by SS-Waffenakademie in Brünn. Originality not verifiable.
