A miniature chest,

Carinthia, 1st half of the 17th century. Oak wood with a later paint décor from the early 19th century. High-quality Renaissance chest, the front segmented by means of sectional strips. On the lid a movable carrying handle. On the front side a chased escutcheon, finely forged lock with the original hollow shank key. The inner drawer on the left side, small loss to the top edge of the rear. Dimensions 32.5 x 18 x 20 cm. Published and depicted in: Große Wunder - kleine Möbel, Knaufmuseum Ipphofen 2005, no. 70.
