A baroque cabinet casket,

probably Augsburg, circa 1650. Walnut with ripple moulding decoration. A spreading base with a lockable drawer. Chest with two lockable double doors, one superimposed compartment with a lockable lid. The inside of the chest fitted with eight drawers, their front sides veneered with bone and tortoiseshell. The inside of the drawers lined with fabric (around 1900) and furnished as a jewellery box. Two movable carrying handles on the narrow sides. The locks and the fittings partly renewed during the Historism period. Dimensions 25.5 x 16 x 30.5 cm.
