An Indian cavalryman's mail shirt with a mail coif,

Dekkan, 17th century. Long-sleeved haubergeon, slit up the back, made of riveted iron rings of different sizes. Reinforcing plates incorporated in the front and sides with eight (partially incomplete) fastening clasps. Three long rows of overlapping small plates on the back. Some surface rust and a few defects in the mesh. Length ca. 95 cm. It comes with the mail coif of riveted rings, the integral crown plate has a (somewhat bent) plume socket. Length 55 cm.
