A model 1843/47 mirliton for enlisted men

of the 8th Hussar Regiment. Leather body wound with a cloth strip, black on the outside and blue on the inside. Leather top. Metal chinscales on screw rosettes. Field insignia. The old leather lining possibly replaced (old repair?). Used condition but wothout moth damage.
