A cast-iron parade helmet
in Renaissance style, German or French, circa 1860 Two-piece skull with rich décor in relief. The comb adorned with a caryatid in front and surmounted by a three-diamensional dragon figure. Cheek-pieces and the dragon's wings missing, the tail tip broken off. Height 37 cm. High quality iron casting modelled after the helmet from the Chimera-set in the Musée d'larmée in Paris.
