in the style of 1500
A riveted jousting helmet made in several pieces with a single eye-slit, grooved, perforated skull with breathing holes on the reverse side. A placarded breastplate with a moveable lance rest. Taces sliding on three lames. The one-piece back plate has three rump guards. Attached tassets set with rivets with a short, chain mail, fald. Full, moveable brassards with rondels, closed cowters and mitten gauntlets sliding on three lames. Cuisses of two lames, knee cops sliding on four lames and hinged greaves. Sabatons of multiple lames with one spur. On a wooden stand. Leather is defective in places. Height ca. 190 cm.
