A silver-mounted gilt ceremonial kris

Sulawesi, 20th century
Wavy, bog iron blade with a cut base. Gilt grip shaped as a stylised Garuda, chased with floral designs. The silver-covered warangka and scabbard chased en suite with floral patterns. A tuli tuli batir batir set with cabochons tied on the front with an attached silver cord. Length 41.5 cm.
