A large Roman millefiori fibula,

2nd/3rd century A.D. Bronze with greenish patina. Square plate mit surrounding circular ornaments. The obverse with well preserved enamelled decor, the centre inlaid with millefiori glass. Remains of the needle socket on the back. Diameter 4.9 cm.
