An Illyrian type helmet,

6th century B.C. Bronze with fine, brownish-greenish patina. The helmet dome with a broad crest base contoured by two parallel ridges running from front to back. Rectangular face opening with pointed cheekpieces. The forehead with two horizontal ribs surmounted by a fastening hole. The edge bordered by ornamental rivets. The back of the skull with carinated perimeter and flaring neck guard. Height 21.5 cm. Weight 923 g.
Left side deformed. Minor restorations in the area of the crest base, one restored crack at the left side of the back of the head. Well preserved metal substance.
