Gold, 15.37 g, enamelled. The ring is punched "EQ" for Eduard Quellhorst. Fine, very thin issue, included are a 15 cm ribbon section and the light blue award presentation case with dark red velvet insert and maker's mark of the Hemmerle Brothers, Munich in the liner. It was customary for returnable examples of this award by Quellhorst or Leser to arrive at the award ceremony in a case made by the Hemmerle firm.
The bestowal of this order carried with it elevation to the personal nobility.
