A pair of elephant tusks

Africa, 20th century
Slightly different ivory tusks with polished surfaces. The interior filled with plaster. Both tusks cracked lengthwise, one near the tip partially fractured and restored, a minor damage retouched. The endings mounted with iron clamps. Length 142 and 143 cm, weight (inclusive plaster) 19.5 and 23.6 kg.
