A Baltic snaphance rifle,

circa 1700. Octagonal, slightly swamped barrel with smooth bore in 15 mm calibre. Dovetailed brass front sight and iron rear sight. Typical flintlock (pan cover missing) with (defective) set trigger. Walnut stock with engraved and blackened bone inlays, cut iron trigger guard. Wooden ramrod with bone tip and iron threaded shoe. The butt is wormed with the underside somewhat restored, the stock has a break near the lock. The patchbox is a replacement. Length 98 cm.
