A Dutch flintlock target rifle,
circa 1700. Heavy, tapered octagonal barrel with fine rifling in 18 mm calibre, dovetailed iron front sight, and aperture rear sight. Chiselled flintlock held in place by a lever for quick removal. Double set trigger. Lightly carved walnut full stock with an added (at the time) butt stock and hand support. Iron trigger guard and butt plate. Length 132.5 cm.
