A Southern German flintlock gun with turnover barrels,
circa 1780. Two-stage barrels, octagonal then round after a baluster, with a smooth bores in 15 mm calibre and brass inlaid front sights. Smooth flintlock. Walnut stock (minor repairs) carved with floral designs. Patch box. Sawn brass furniture. The trigger guard has a lever for turning the barrels. Iron ramrod. Length 120 cm.
