A flintlock shotgun with silver furniture,

Johannes Marder, Bonn, circa 1790. Octagonal, blued barrel with smooth bore in 14 mm calibre and a silver front sight. Silver ornamental inlay on top of the barrel, which is signed, "Johann Marder a Bonn". The flintlock bears floral engraving. Walnut half stock with horn nose cap and smooth silver furniture. Beautiful condition. Length 120 cm.
Johannes Marder, Bonn, known 1780 - 95. In 1783 he was appointed gunsmith to the prince elector.
