A Bohemian wheellock Teschinke,

circa 1680. Round, smooth bore (replacement?) barrel in 11.5 mm calibre. The entire surface of the wheellock is engraved with hunting and floral designs. Exterior mechanism. Full stock richly inlaid with engraved and blackened bone and mother-of-pearl. Openwork wavey scroll decoration on the underside of the forearm. Horn termination to patch box and butt stock. Trigger guard broken. Forearm (presumably) and a few inlays restored. Lock with patina. Length 93.5 cm.
