A flintlock rifle,

Franz Muck, Brünn/A, circa 1740. Two-stage barrel, octagonal becoming round after a cut baluster, with a seven groove rifled bore in 14 mm calibre. Silver front sight. There is a putto and the mark "FRANZ MUCK" inlaid in silver above the breech. Flintlock cut with floral designs with an internal cock and frizzen spring. The lock plate is signed "FRANTZ MUCK IN BRIN". Carved walnut half stock. Finely engraved brass furniture with remnants of gilding. Wooden trigger guard. Horn-covered patch box. Original wooden ramrod with horn tip and iron ball puller. Length 140 cm.
