A heavy flintlock rifle,

Fromery in Berlin, circa 1690. Heavy two-stage barrel, octagonal then round with a lightly swamped muzzle. Smooth bore in 19mm calibre. Flintlock with a cambered lock plate, inscribed "Fromery in Brelin" (sic) on the lower edge. S-shaped side plate. Walnut full stock. Minimal restoration. Smooth, iron furniture. Length 163 cm. Peter Fromery was active in Berlin 1686 - ca. 1700. Friedrich III's court gunsmith.
