A gold-inlaid Persian pesh kabz

circa 1800
Curved, slightly ridged wootz Damascus blade with reinforced edge and back. Floral and inscription decoration in gold inlay on both sides at the base of the blade. Replacement gold-inlaid iron grip frame with walrus ivory grip scales. Length 36.5 cm.
