A gold-inlaid Indian Khyber knife

circa 1800
Typical wootz Damascus blade reinforced on the back with rich gold inlay all the way to the point on both sides. Iron grip frame inlaid in gold (somewhat worn) en suite with riveted walrus ivory grip scales. Length 49.5 cm .
