A silver-inlaid Caucasian kinjal with by-knife

circa 1900
Double-edged blade with reinforced base. Dark horn gripscales with iron mountings and silver-inlaid floral decorations. Iron scabbard with silver inlays and three gilded silver plates with niello decorations. The back of the scabbard covered with leather. By-knife with horn gripscales. Length 52 cm.
