Dagestan, circa 1900
Blade with offset fullers on both sides and ridged at the point. Silver grip ferrule with niello decoration and gold-inlaid ivory grip panels. The reverse side signed "Work of Mohammed". Silver-mounted wooden scabbard with four ivory plaques inlaid in gold. The reverse side with (somewhat worn) fabric cover. Length 49 cm.
