A silver- and ivory-mounted kinjal

Dagestan, circa 1900
Double-edged blade with offset fullers on both sides. Silver-mounted grip with niello and ornamental bands of pearls, the ivory rivets inlaid in gold. Silver scabbard decorated en suite (obverse a small crack) with two gold-inlaid ivory plaques. Length 47 cm.
