A flintlock blunderbuss,

Charles Bauduin, Liège, circa 1780. Two-stage barrel, octagonal breech section then round after a baluster with a funnel-shaped horizontally flattened oval muzzle. The top of the barrel has fine floral and rocaille engraving on the chamber and at the muzzle. Iron flintlock signed, "C. BAUDUIN" on the cambered lockplate. Beautiful carved walnut full stock with iron furniture engraved en suite. Iron ramrod. Length 92 cm.
