A heavy matchlock musket,

Suhl, circa 1630. Two-stage barrel, octagonal then round with smooth bore in 19 mm caliber and the Suhl hen stamped on the side of the chamber. Iron front sight and dovetailed rear sight. Replacement flash guard and missing pan cover. Iron matchlock rounded on the ends. Replacement dark beech wood stock with wooden ramrod. Iron trigger guard and butt plate. Length 159.5 cm.
