A knightly dagger

French or English, middle of the 14th century
Double-edged ridged blade. Heavy quillons with round, slightly tapered broadened arms. The finials have remnants of groove decoration. Cord-wrapped grip with leather covering (replaced). Flat, slightly tapered, hollowed disk pommel. Length 38.5 cm.
