A walking stick with an ivory handle

German, circa 1860
Heavy ivory handle with a carved representation of the lightly clad goddess of luck, Fortuna on the "Schellensau" (symbol of good luck) knocking down all nine pins. Shaft of Spanish cane with an iron point set in ivory. Length 89 cm.
Finest quality carving in very good condition (except for the restored right hand).
