A German matchlock musket with musket support,
1st quarter of the 17th century. Two-stage barrel, octagonal breech section then round with a smooth bore in 17 mm calibre. "N 65" engraved on top. Square pan with swinging cover. Lock bears stamped decoration, almost illegible marks, man at arms with pistols, and "SH"(?). Blackened full stock with iron furniture. Original wooden ramrod with iron tip. Length 142 cm. It comes with a musket support with a forged iron fork rest. The wooden shaft is stamped "JRCDHL". Iron shoe with a quadrangular point. Length 167 cm. Arsenal maintained. Very good weapon in original condition.
