A knightly sword,

German, 1st half of the 14th century. Straight, double-edged blade with deep fullers on both sides, rusted through in the fuller near the point, about 1 cm of the point is missing. The quillons have a square section, with the finials bent down into an "S" shape. The tang has a riveted disk pommel (riveting restored). Cleaned excavation discovery. Length 92 cm.
