A silver-mounted "Queen Anne" flintlock pistol

Smooth, screw barrel in 15 mm calibre with cannon muzzle and locking stud on the underside. The iron lock is lightly engraved and signed "REUHL A STRASBOURG" under the frizzen. Walnut grip with iron trigger guard. Embossed furniture and grotesque mask pommel cap of silver. Length: 30 cm.
Heinrich Adam Reuhl, Strasbourg, recorded between 1726 and 1784, known as a guild member since 1736.
