A Dreyse needle-fire revolver

Dreyse, Sömmerda around 1865
Large model, 0.39 calibre (Prussian inches = ca. 10.2 mm). Serial number 2628. Six shot cylinder. Frame with vine engraving, and ornamental silver inlay on top of the needle housing. "v. Dreyse Sömmerda" is stamped above the cylinder, and the calibre designation is on the left side of the frame. Grip is walnut with fine checkering. Pommel cap with ring. Length: 30 cm.
Virtually factory new condition with 100 % finish. Grip piece has minimal dents.
